I got flashed today by ECU Flashes... and I love it!
I can sum up the general change in the car with one word, crisper. That's the improved/changed driving experience, quicker spool time, smoother feel and more aggressive tip-in. In addition, there is a generous amount more power to play with that you can really feel. The car is a beast, the turbo kicks in just a little harder and soon and the whole car takes off with authority pulling its self down the road with strong confident feel. In addition, the whole power curves seems to have smoother its self out. I'm loving it.
I've only had it on the car for one long drive home marred by some traffic, though I did get to play around, it takes very little effort to reach 80mph, simply step on it, wind out 2nd and into 3rd and about the time you thinking about going for 4th or stepping on the brakes your doing 75-80mph. If you take 4th gear your going to find yourself over 100mph. Not that this can't be done on a stock tune, but the Pasini just makes you want to rev the car, it has a nice growl/purrrr from the advanced timing, sexxxxxxxxxxxxy.
I've been running AFR's under boost of 10 up into 9.8 so it's plenty, plenty safe. More to come as it settles in and I live with it for a month or so. I want to report on more than just found power, this tune is also about being able to improve on the driving character of the car. I will also be adding a DP soon so I can report how the tune handles that.
